Lillie Mae Herron

Lillie Mae Herron, 88, of Bakewell, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017.  She was a member of the Daisy Church of God and retired from Dixie Yarns.  Lillie Mae loved spending time with her nieces and nephews who called her “Aunt Lemonade”.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Paul Herron; son, Steve Herron; parents, Bertha and Mace Watts and siblings; Mace F. Watts, W.A. Watts, David Watts and Grace Watts Thurman.

Survivors are her sisters, Arbutus Watts Gann and Patricia Watts Shadwick; brother, Estil Watts (Grace) and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.  Burial will be Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery in Epworth, Georgia. Visitation is Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
