Joseph A. “Joe” McRee, 62, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. He was a member of the Soddy Church of Christ and retired from TVA after 30 years working at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim McRee and stepfather, Dorsey Blankenship.
Survivors are his mother, Pat Blankenship; wife, Hazel McRee; son Jeremy McRee (Tracy); half-brother, Elliott McRee; stepbrothers, Scott, Steve and Randall Potter; stepsisters, Sandy Blankenship and Tammy Potter; stepmother, Ruth McRee.
Services will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Minister Bill Greer officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
