Jimmy “Jim” Raymond Floyd, 63, of Soddy-Daisy passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017, at home. He was employed by Lowes Cabinets in Cleveland, Tennessee, and he was of the Baptist faith. He was a competitive skeet shooter and was nationally recognized as a gunsmith. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Floyd, and brother, Rusty Floyd.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Magouirk; mother, Syble Floyd; son, Jarod Floyd (Michelle); daughters, Lauren Hayes, and Cheyenne Kaylor-Magouirk; brother, Don Floyd (Kathy) ; sister, Joyce Proctor (Jerry); and grandchildren, Faith, Jason, Justis, Jayden, Zayden, and Trinity.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Minister Bill Greer officiating. Interment will follow in Shockley Cemetery, 103 Shockley Cemetery Road, Spencer, TN 38585. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. Monday, September 25, 2017, at the funeral home.
