Wanda Faye Purser

Wanda Faye (Weeks) Purser went to her Heavenly home on January 13, 2021 at age 76. Faye was born to James E. and Thelma I. Weeks on July 27, 1944 in Daisy, Tennessee. She was the fourth of five children. Her father lovingly referred to her as “Baby Girl.” She attended Soddy-Daisy High School and graduated in 1962. Faye was an employee of Unum Provident for over 20 years. She was a fiercely dedicated mother to her children. A faithful member of Soddy Church of Christ, Faye was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She strived to live the life of the Godly woman in Proverbs 31:10-31. Faye was preceded in death by husband and love of her life, Jerry F. Purser; parents, Elmer and Thelma Weeks; sister, Freda Weeks.

Survivors are her daughter, Missy (Morris) Hilton; son, Todd Woodall; stepdaughter, Briana (Benny) Feltman; grandchildren, Kristen Woodall and Allison Ellis; great grandchildren, Levi Smith and Hazel Gardner; sisters, Nancy (Buck) Ables and Mona Sue Heiss and brother, Rex (Earlene) Weeks.
