Vesta Ann Roberson

Vesta Ann Roberson, 87, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

She was born December 10, 1933 in Etowah, TN and moved to Soddy-Daisy in 1948. She was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School and Belmont College. Professionally, she served our community as an educator. She taught at Alpine Crest Elementary School for 30 years. Vesta was also very active in the local church throughout her life. She was a member of First Baptist Church Soddy-Daisy for many years and later Stuart Heights Baptist Church in Chattanooga. During her time in these churches she sang in the choir and taught Sunday School.

She is preceded in death by her parents (Lake and Vesta J. Roberson), her sisters (Lolita Woodward and Ersa Hollis), her brother (W.V. Roberson), and her niece (Tammy Roberson). She is survived by many nieces and nephews and several cousins. 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Williamson Funeral Home with Tyler Roberson officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:30 with the funeral service starting at 1:30. Her burial will take place immediately after the service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
