Verna Lee Edmonds

Verna Edmonds, 85, of Signal Mountain, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at her home. She was a member of Lone Oak Church of God. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles Edmonds; father, Sam Brumlow; and her mother, Anna Mae Bales.

She is survived by her sons, David Edmonds (Red Bank), Roy Edmonds (Signal Mountain) and Glenn (Becky) Edmonds (Signal Mountain); daughters, Jessica (Matt) Price (Hixson) and Dava (Jason) Hodges (Hixson); as well as several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 12, 2020 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Miller and Rev. Glen Key presiding. Burial will follow at Sawyer Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 and from 11:00 to 1:00 pm Thursday, prior to services.
