Ruth Ola Spangler

Ruth Ola Spangler, 91, of Soddy-Daisy, passed as she lived, quietly, to her forever home with our Lord on Friday, June 12, 2020. She was of the Church of God faith. Ruth retired from the Signal Knitting Mills and Hamilton County Department of Education. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband of 66 years, Melvin Spangler and daughter-in-law, Margaret.

Survivors are her children, Melba Lewis (Alvin), Gary Spangler, Bobby Spangler (Kay), Donnie Spangler and Linda Kell (Dickie), 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 12 great great-grandchildren.

A special thank you to her friends at Tall Pines Estates, NHC in Dunlap, Hospice of Chattanooga, and Park Ridge Hospital.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Chattanooga Memorial Park with Rev. Rocky Bradford officiating. Visitation is Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
