Rex Allen Hyer

Rex Hyer, 67, passed away on January 9, 2019. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran, a dedicated and talented musician, and a loving husband who loved his family dearly. Rex loved life and music, and was so much more than words can describe. He will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife of 21 wonderful years, Janie Rae Hyer, step- children, Tim Emery and Stacy Emery, grandchildren, Timothy Emery, Bryan Emery, Christopher Emery, Kacie Rae Lynn Sanders, Jessica Sanders, William Land, Jr., and Emily Emery, as well as several great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, January 14, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with dedicated friend Ralph Pell presiding. Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, 2019.
