Tribute

 

Mason Henry, 21, passed away on November 14, 2021. He was 2018 graduate of Sale Creek High School, was a student at Tennessee Tech, and a member of Phi Delta Theta. He was one of the players that helped build the high school football program. Mason loved hunting, building guns, football, especially UT football. He was loved by everyone who knew him and always had a huge smile on his face.

Mason gave the gift of life to several people by being an organ donor. He will be greatly missed by so many.

 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara H. Abernathy and Sam Henry.

 

He is survived by his parents, Rex and Julia “Sissy” Henry; grandparents, Jinnie Henry and Terry Abernathy; uncle and aunts, Kyle (Sasha) Abernathy, Greg (Lisa) Henry, and Julie Smith (Sean Sims); cousins, Lauren and Gage Smith and Ethan and Mark Abernathy; and his dog, BJ. He was also survived by a host of extended family.

 

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the funeral home. Services will be in the funeral home chapel on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Wilcoxen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Tucker Hooker, John and Luke Roberts, Will Redden, Ethan Hardin Knoch, Ryan Goodpaster and Conner Long. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity Chapter of Tennessee Tech.
