Kennedy James McClure passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents on February 28, 2019 at the age of 16 months old. She lost her battle with pulmonary vein stenosis. Kennedy was a fighter from the beginning. She was a sweet, gentle little girl who was loved by all that she came in contact with. She loved playing with her toys, kicking her feet in the air, and most of all spending time with her family. Although her time with us was short, she touched many people’s hearts.

Kennedy will always be remembered by her loving parents, Josh and Amber McClure; brother Cash; sister Kylie; grandparents James Paul Morgan, James and Sandra McClure; great grandparents, Marlene Sparks, Christine Hix, Frances McClure; and many other loving family members and friends.

Kennedy is preceded in death by her grandmother, Diana Morgan.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the doctors and nurses at Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt for the wonderful care that was given to Kennedy during her stays. We would also like to thank Kennedy’s cardiologist, Dr. English Flack; palliative care, Dr. Tracy Hills, and her home health nurse, Rebecca Sutton, for their constant support and for never giving up on Kennedy.

Visitation is 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday and 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Tommy Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
