Katherine Dye

Katherine Ruth Dye, 92, passed away peacefully, Friday, August 10, 2018. She was a native of Chattanooga, born, May 27, 1926, to the late Charlie and Pearl Biggs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gurstle T. Dye; sisters, Helen Wilcox, Daisy Shankles, Evelyn Raulston and Patsy Biggs; brothers, Bill Biggs, Jim Biggs and John Biggs.

Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Sue Cunningham Williams and husband, B.J. of Soddy-Daisy; grandchildren, C. Corey Williams and Carrie L. Aslinger, also of Soddy-Daisy; 4 great-grandchildren, C. Taylor Williams, Dylan C. Aslinger, Landyn B. Aslinger and Ryleigh E. Smith and a number of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Biggs officiating. Burial will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery, County Road 508, Mars Hill Road, Englewood, Tennessee. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
