Josiah Wandell

Josiah Travis Wandell, 23, of Soddy-Daisy, passed from life to LIFE on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. There was a fire in your heart, with that you lit a light in the lives of others. Finding the light without you is something none of us expected to have to do. You were color in a black and white world. We will miss you always. Josiah was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sam Wandell; uncle, Scott Wandell and great grandmother, Myrtle Settles and great grandfather, W.H. Smith.

Survivors are his mother, Donntay Smith Shugart (John); father, Shawn Wandell (Dana); sisters, Zion Wandell and Cana Wandell; step-brothers, Austin and Blake Pemberton; grandparents, Mike and Donna Smith; Sharon Heter; great grandmother, Inez Smith; aunts, Deanna Smith Hickman “Nana”, Shari Bryant; uncles, Daniel Smith, Tracy Wandell; several cousins, extended family and friends from all over the world.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a service following at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Josh Guyselman officiating.
