George Eugene Nance, Jr.

George Nance, Jr., 84, passed away on October 8, 2018. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church for over 40 years. George was employed at National Trust Life, Common Wealth Insurance, Comcast, Telescrips Cable and Express Courier. 

He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Wilma Faye Nance.

He is survived by his sons, George Eugene Nance III, Gregory (Heidi) Lynn Nance, Justin Michael Nance, and Stacey (Beverly) Glenn Nance, daughter, Lisa (Van) Faye Allison, as well as nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Brian Davis presiding. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park. The family will receive friends and loved ones from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
