Fontella Andrea Swafford Woods

Fontella Andrea Swafford Woods, 55, passed away on September 4, 2021. She was a member of New Mount Annie Baptist Church in Bakewell, TN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George Woods; granddaughter, Saniah Woods; and grandparents, Clinton and Idell Swafford and Newell Smith.

Survivors are her daughters, Whitney Woods and Porsche Woods; parents, Jim and Linda Swafford; grandmother, Margaret Smith; grandchildren, Jakyse Locklin, Imani Swafford, Persia, Chris, Rykya and Demi Woods; siblings, Dana Hickey, Melissa Swafford, Barnett Swafford, Crystal Swafford, Daphne Swafford and Jermaine (Sara) Swafford; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Fontella is also survived by a special friend, Johnny Wilburn.

The family would like to thank everyone for their calls, texts, food, prayers and the love they shared with them during this time. If you could continue to keep them in your prayers.

The family will receive friends and loved ones from 11:00 to 3:00 on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the funeral home. Services will be in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Friday.

The family asks that everyone in attendance to follow COVID protocols and wear proper face coverings.
