Floyd Ray Davis, Jr., 69, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a longtime member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 43 and worked as a pipefitter. Ray loved spending time with his family and his dog, Oscar. He also enjoyed fishing. He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Ray Davis, Sr. and his mother, Bernice Davis and sister, Joan Summers.
Survivors are his children, Shannon Davis (Heather) and Sherry Valenzuela (William “Wilbur”); grandchildren, Katlin Davis, Christopher Higgins (Megan), Rayven Davis, Allie Scarborough, Kendall Scarborough, Cameron Davis, Jasmin Valenzuela, Gabriel Keith and Grayson Keith; great grandchildren, Raydyn Higgins and Natalie Higgins; siblings, Judy Reynolds, Carol Martin and Glenn Davis and several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services will be on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Joe Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park. Visitation is Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
