Pauline Grant

Edith Pauline Frederick Grant, 89, of Mowbray Mountain, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 16, 2021. She was a member of Mowbray Church of God. Pauline enjoyed cooking for her family, sewing, quilting and going to Wal-Mart to shop. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Gladys Frederick; sisters, Beatrice Johnston and Glendora Frederick; brothers, Calvin Frederick, Otis Frederick and Fred Frederick.

Survivors include her husband of 74 years, Charles Edwin Grant, Sr.; children, Eddie Grant (Brenda), Delores Smith (David), Jimmy Grant (Brenda), Wanda Grant (Doyle), Charlene Lewis (Dean), Ronny Grant; sister, Freda Wilson; 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will be on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Mowbray Church of God with Rev. Grant Chauncey officiating. She will lie in state from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday before the service at the church. Burial will be at Granny Walker Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
