Delores Ann Jenkins

Delores Ann Jenkins, 82, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at her home in the presence of her family. She was born March 14, 1936 to the late Anderson B. Mansel and Bertie M. Mansel. Delores attended Central High School and was a lifelong member of Daisy Church of God. She retired from Wagner Pencil Company. Family and friends were Delores’s delights. She spent most of her life caring for others. She found great joy in reading her Bible, gardening and puzzles of any kind. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mae Frances Mansel and nephew, Michael Tracy Posey.

Survivors are her daughter, Tammy K. Jenkins; sister, Charlotte Williams; brother, Anderson B. Mansel, Jr. (Anna) along with several nieces and nephews to whom she was considered “Mother and Grandmother”, Sharon Dent (Rickie), Jason Mansel (Leleña Avila), Dee W. Posey (Kim), Gabe and Lillian Dent and Eric Gailor (Michal Gailer).

Services will be on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home with Bishop Caleb Bolton officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
