Deborah "Debbie" Griswold

Our beloved "Train Mamaw" was called home by the Lord on April 16, 2024. 

A beautiful woman with an equally beautiful soul.

She enjoyed the life God blessed her with, she gave everything and everyone all of her. A woman of strength, humor and compassion. She was a loving wife, sister, daughter, friend and mother; never doing anything "small", including how she loved.

She is survived by her three daughters, Kelli, Karla and Lori Hood, brothers, Ronnie and Frank Hood, sister, Joy Casteel, grandchildren, Ashley and Austin Suttles, Riley, Stormie and Blake Moore and Avery Haykal, as well as many cousins, extended family and special friends.

Her loved ones would like to make a special mention of her lifelong best friend, Ginny Almond. You were her laughter, her support and closest friend for whom she loved like a sister.

Debbie is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Harry Griswold, parents, N.T. and Helen Hood and her brave and honorable son, Jason Ryan Hood.  

The family will receive friends and loved ones at the funeral home on April 27, 2024 from 4:00 till 6:00 p.m. for a Celebration of Life.
