Clarence Key

Clarence Key passed away on January 28, 2020 at his home in Soddy Daisy, surrounded by his loving family. Clarence was born June 21, 1940 in Englewood, TN. He was a well-known businessman and cabinet maker and helped everyone who had a need. He loved to plant flowers; especially rose bushes.

He was a member and choir director at Union Springs Baptist Church. He loved his church and his family and he and his wife sang together as a couple.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Susie Key; daughters, Donnell Lewis and Teresa Talbott; as well as seven brothers and seven sisters.

Survivors are his wife Faye Stanley Key; sons, Dwayne (Connie) Key and Kenneth (Lori) Key; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Sue (JC) Roderick, Beulah (Ken) Douglas; brothers, CJ (Adena) Key and Noah (Diane) Yarber; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Odell Broadway, Rev. Gary Higgins, Rev. David Neal and Rev. Eddie Womack presiding. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery (Old Fort, TN). The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
