Charles "Buddy" Jones

Charles “Buddy” Jones, 88, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019. He was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy. Charles was a member of the Refuge Assembly of God. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Astec. Buddy was an avid golfer and a member of the Jolly Keenagers Bowling League. He was a loving husband and father. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Pansy Jones and his brother, William Thomas Jones.

Survivors are his wife of 61 years, Rachel Thompson Jones; daughter, Laquita Lea (Bart); grandson, Joshua Lea (Lori); sister-in-law, Loretta Jones; niece, Anna Christian (Chip) and nephew, Greg Jones (Terese) and extended family.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Edward Stott officiating. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
