Charlie Chauncey

Charles Robert “Charlie” Chauncey, Sr., 70, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy and of the Church of God faith. Charlie was a longtime member of the UA Local 43 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union and very active with the Chattanooga Amateur Radio Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, McKinley and Lettie Chauncey and sisters, Sandra Berthold, Pam Chauncey and Pat Smith.

Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Sherry May Chauncey; sons, Charles Chauncey, Jr. (Jeri) and Jason Chauncey; sister, Dorothy Gardier; special family friends, Rebecca Morgan and Barbara McEliece; several nieces and nephews.

A private service and burial will be held at a later date.
