Tribute

Brian Keith “BJ” Daugherty, Jr., 36, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020. He was a lifelong resident of Soddy-Daisy. BJ was saved and baptized and of the Church of God faith. He worked in Tree Service and enjoyed fishing, music, guitar and building things. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Troy Dobbs, James Daugherty and Mary Daugherty; great grandparents, Paul and Annalee Dobbs and cousins, James Robert Edmondson and Leon Gann.

Survivors are his parents, Tammy Massingill and Brian Keith Daugherty, Sr. (Kim); sister, April Renee Wright; step-sisters, Chantale Bailey (Wes) and Melissa Whiteside (Dustin); grandparents, Connie DeBord and Ronald DeBord; nephews, Hayden Wright and Skyler Wright; nieces Mercedes Smith, Scarlet Smith, Wrenley Bailey, Emerley Bailey and Hannah Schlief; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Park in Soddy-Daisy.
