Bobby Floyd Rue

Bobby Floyd Rue, 79, of Hixson, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020. He attended Green Pond Baptist Church. Bobby retired as a truck driver. In high school, Bobby was a Golden Glove boxer and lettered in football. He loved to hunt and fish and raise chickens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys and Harvey Rue, brother, Wayne Rue and sister, Betty Sullivan.

Survivors are his wife of 59 years. Betty Jo Rue; children, Robby Rue (Lisa), Tony Rue, David Ritchie; sister, Barbara Roach; grandchildren, Stephen Rue, Wesley Rue, Jessica Rue Heard (Johnathan), Paige Rue, Hunter Rue; great grandchildren, Peyton and Presley Heard; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Graveside services will be on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at New Salem Baptist Cemetery.
