Archie Gilbert Smith

Archie Gilbert Smith, 67, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018. A native of Johnson City, Tennessee, he served his country in the U.S. Army. Archie has spent the last 20 years taking care of his grandchildren and great grandchildren which he loved. He was preceded in death by his son, Craig Smith; parents, Roy and Elizabeth Smith; brother-in-law and special friend, Charles Casey; siblings, Ogleva, Naoma and Linda and a nephew, Ray Ray

Survivors are his daughter, Heather Scarbrough (Jason); son, Eric Smith (Kim); grandchildren, Hayden Smith, Paige Smith, Ethen Smith, Christian Cooley, Peyton Green, Hunter Smith, McKenzie Smith, Macey Smith, Therion Mordecai, Hannah Green, Tucker Green; great grandchildren, Jaxxton Smith, Craigen Bettis and William Smith; siblings, Lawrence, Leon, Gary and Sandra and several nieces and nephews.

Services locally will be held Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at North Red Bank Baptist Church at 5:00 p.m. with special friend Pastor Roger Redman officiating.

A service in Jonesboro, Tennessee will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Embreeville United Methodist Church at 5:00 p.m.
