Angie Davis

Angela Darlene “Angie” Nelson Davis, 59, of Hixson, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 23, 2021. She was of the Baptist faith. Angie was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School Class of 1980. She was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Michael Alan Davis; loving father, Bobby Eugene “Ralph” Nelson; loving sister, Annette Nelson Millwood; maternal grandparents, Paul Roberts and Sarah Jane Houts Roberts; paternal grandparents, Rolland Q. Nelson and Iris Irene Nelson and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her only son, Thomas Lee Raines, III, who she loved with all her heart; her loving mother, Lucy Lena Gaffney; loving sisters, Anita Nelson Claridy, Amy Nelson Sanders who will miss her terribly; loving uncles, Arthur (Virgia) Roberts, Robert Roberts and Clifford Goodson; special aunt, Pearl Roberts and aunt, Sherrie Roberts; many nieces and nephews which she loved like her own and many cousins.

Services will be on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Carl Hunsucker officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
