Opal Mae Higgins Hill

Opal Mae Higgins Hill, 81, of Hixson, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018. She was a member of Dividing Ridge Church of God. Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Higgins; daughter, Juanita Garrett; son, Alvin Graham; parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Palmer and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors are her daughters, Katherine Reyes (Nacho) of Auburn, GA and Alissa Simpson (Jimmy) of Dayton, TN; son, Charlie Higgins (Vickie) of Corryton, TN; sister, Geneva Graham; brother, Dewan “Pete” Palmer (Mary); 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Sonny Wilkes officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
