I was so sad to hear of Lillie Mae's passing. She was an awesome lady and such a blessing to know. I married Charles "Chuck" in 1995 and Lillie Mae became my mother-in-law. She and Wanda Sue embraced me immediately like I had been in the family forever. We had many talks over the phone and Chuck and I was fortunate to visit them in Tennessee. Lillie Mae was a kind and loving woman who never had a negative thing to say about anyone. She never complained even though she suffered many years with back problems. I regret that I was not able to get back to Tennessee to see her after Chuck passed away. He loved her and treasured their many talks on the phone. Lillie Mae called him Charles and I know he was there to greet her when she entered Heaven. I can see them now laughing like they always did. I will miss her wonderful spirit and gracious smile. I love you Lillie Mae.
