I'm very sorry of just now learning of Joe's passing, I'm deeply saddened. I've only known Joe for about three years but in that short time we became friends.
Rest high on the mountain, until we meet again in Heaven my friend.

I am saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. I worked at Sequoyah and had the pleasure of his assistance on many occasions. He was always pleasant and professional in helping us to perform our job safely. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends as they mourn his departure from their circle of life.

Jambo will always remembered as big guy and big heart! We always loved to see him come survey our lab and give us a story. My favorite story was when several Rad Con bunch went deer hunting out West. We know Jambo wasn't the fastest but he ended up getting only deer on the hunt and took a lot of kidding. My greatest comfort is knowing he knew our Lord Jesus-we will be praying & grieving with you family.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. He was a senior tech when I joined the Health Physics group in 1983. He was always kind to me and a very gentle man overall at work. We will miss you Joe, rest in peace my friend.

I am so sorry to hear about Joe. I saw this on Facebook. I don’t know if you remember me, but I am sure Pat does. Pat, Joe and his dad lived in the house above us. Joe would come down to our house to play with Dennis. Prayers for your family.

We will certainly miss Jambo. All of us in Rad protection at the Sequoyah nuclear plant love and respect Joe McRee. For many of us, we learned everything we know about our job from Jambo. It’s a sad day for all of us!

My sincere condolences to Joe’s family. I first met him while in high school. He was a very nice, friendly guy who was always making people around him laugh. Then got reacquainted while working with him at Sequoyah.

What a truly wonderful man!! His passing is a great loss to his family and friends. He had such a huge heart and was so cheerful.

My prayers are with his wife and son.

So sorry for your loss! I just met you all on Tuesday in the lobby at Northpark and even then we had no idea that Jambo would be leaving us so soon. He was an awesome person, friend and coworker that I will miss tremendously! I am keeping all of lifted up in prayer that God will comfort you as you learn to navigate life without him. It won’t be easy, but God is there for each of you. Jam’s TVA family loved him a lot!
