Harold Lamar Sims, 70, of Mowbray Mountain, passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017. He was retired from DuPont after 39 years of employment. Lamar was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Lillian Sims and brother, Samuel C. Sims.
Survivors are his sons, Ronald Sims and Derrick Sims; granddaughters, Rhionna, Lily and Katlyne Sims; great granddaughter, Charlotte Sims; brothers, Marlin, Ed, Joe and Gary; sisters, Mildred, Agnes, Faye, Catherine, Nancy and Patricia; nieces, nephews, cousins and many beloved friends. He will be dearly missed by many.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Millsaps Cemetery. Visitation is on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
