Winna Bessey

Winna Greene Bessey, 86, of Dunlap, Tennessee passed away May 12, 2021 at her home surrounded by her three daughters. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. While living in Georgia she was an active member of the Morrow Methodist Church where she cared for and assisted the elderly. She was also an active member of the Sequatchie County Cancer Network in Dunlap, Tennessee.

Her loving husband of fifty nine years, Alan L. Bessey; her parents, Bruce and Hester Greene and two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

She was survived by her three daughters, Lynn (Mark) Frost, Alisa Whited, Karen (Tom) Reece; brother, Lyndol Greene; sister, Reba Love; grandchildren, Emily (Brad) Raines, Chase (Sasha) Whited, Sydney (Christopher) Walker, Jackson Reece, Shelby Reece, Rachael Frost, Ryley and Kasey; great-grandchildren, Addison and Hudson Whited, Noah, Aspen and Charleigh Raines, Jepson and Branson and a very special person to her, Deb Cookston (Paul) Hunter.

Her family will be having private services. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Sequatchie County Cancer Network.
