Nancy Ashworth, 90, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018. She was a lifelong member of Daisy Church of God. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Ashworth, Sr., son, Richard Lebron Ashworth, parents, Arthur and Myrtle Conner; sisters, Helen Kelly and Ruth Hogue; brothers, Benny, Flavis, Glen and E.C. Conner.
Survivors are her son, Jack Ashworth, Jr (Shawn).; daughters, Pam Mushegan and Karen Hill; grandsons, Alan Mushegan (Jenny), Aram Mushegan (Ashley), Ariel Mushegan, Dewayne Hill (Melissa) and Aaron Wathan (Ana); granddaughters, Laura Currier (Brian) and Jaclyn Ashworth; great grandsons, Ryker Currier and Aedan Hill; great granddaughters, Abby Hill, Annelise Currier, Kaylee Currier, Olivia Mushegan, Sadie Mushegan, Stella Mushegan, Lillian Mushegan and Isla Mushegan; sister, Rene Holloway; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Ashworth will lie in state on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Daisy Church of God followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. with Bishop Caleb Bolton and Bishop Jim Milligan officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton County Memorial Park with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
