William Donald Wooten

William Donald Wooten, passed away on September 12, 2021. He was born February 22, 1947. Don graduated from Chattanooga High School and was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Jesse William Wooten, Joy R. Wooten and his brother-in-law, Donald F. Simpson. He was retired and of the Methodist faith.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Theresa; daughter, Tammi (Kevin) Lacy; sisters, Sylvia Wooten Simpson, Sandra Wooten (Tom) Wright, Terri Wooten (Charles) Thrailkill along with his life-long best friend, Ray Hughes and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and one great great nephew.

At Don’s request and due to COVID there will not be a service or visitation at the funeral home. A graveside service will be on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
