Pat Conway
William Pat Conway Sr., better known as Grizzly to friends and Papaw to grand and great- grandchildren, passed away August 8, 2017. He was born December 15, 1936 to the late, Margaret Bissell Conway and Thomas I. Conway.
Pat was in the Choir of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Sir Knight William Patrick Conway was a member of The Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree Assembly 1084 and Holy Spirit Council 14079. He was a graduate of St Bernard High School in Cullman, AL., the University Chattanooga then the Culinary Institute of America on Yale University Campus. He was also a retired member of Carpenter Local 74.
He was a Devoted Husband and Father, you will Be Missed.
He is leaving behind his wife of 36 years Bianer Elizabeth Conway; his Sister Barbara Delano; his Children Theresa Wilson, Joy LeClair, Kathryn Schrader, Patricia Conway, Cathleen Nichols, John Cady Jr., William Pat Conway Jr.; 24 Grandchildren and 25 Great- Grand Children.
Services will be 12:00 P.M. Friday at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Monsignor Al Humbrecht officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
