Wanda Carden

Wanda Sue Carden, 77, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee passed away June 16, 2020. She retired from the Chattanooga Times Free Press. Wanda was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed being with her family and friends.

Her husband of fifty four years, Paul Matthew Carden; daughter, Katy Lynn Carden; grandson, Nathan Will Dent, her parents, Jess and Katherine Miller and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Wanda was survived by her son, Charles “Pete” Miller of Soddy Daisy; daughters, Paula (Bobby) Sneed of Sale Creek, Stephanie Johnson of Soddy Daisy; brothers, Jack and Jay Miller; sisters, Mary Staley and Betty Stephens; grandchildren, Delphia Dent (Rick) May, Matthew Dent, James (Samantha) Johnson, John (Angela) Johnson, Robert (Jordan) Johnson, Elizabeth Miller, Cristal (Mark) Cain, Shelby Miller, Leroy Kilgore and Brittany (Bobby Jr.) Sneed; eighteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; her best friend, Tonia Davis and several nieces and nephews.

Her family is going to have private services.
