Vickie Arlene Rose Parton

Vickie Arlene Rose Parton, 62, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. She was a longtime resident of Soddy-Daisy and of the Baptist faith. She was a server for many years and last worked at Karl’s Restaurant where she was dearly loved by her customers. Vickie was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and her Mountain Dews. She loved her fur baby, Bear. She was preceded in death by her son, B.J. Parton, who was the center of her universe. Vickie continued grieving her son’s death every day until she passed. Also preceding her in death was her father, Glenn Rose and mother, Martha Rose and brother, Mike Rose.

Survivors are her spouse, Larry Taylor; siblings, Glenda Snyder (Jack) and Kenny Rose (Cindy); niece, Jennifer Trimby (Daniel); nephews, Mitchell Rose (Kerri) and Dustin Rose (Felecia) and extended family.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Varner Cemetery with Rev. Paul Forgey officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday before the service at the funeral home.
