Tracie Welch Shutters

Tracie Welch Shutters, 47, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Thursday, February 7, 2019. She was a 1989 graduate of Chattanooga Christian School. Tracie attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga where she was a varsity cheerleader. She graduated from Chattanooga State Summa Cum Laude with a nursing degree. Tracie was an accomplished classical pianist and was “Miss Chattanooga” in 1992. She was preceded in death by her husband Bryan “Beezie” Shaw; grandparents, Tom and Ruth Coleman and Newt and Frankie Welch.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Shutters; daughter, Elsie Shaw; stepchildren, Madison and Zack Shutters; parents, LC and Martha Dean Welch; brother, Ted (Faralynn) Welch; sister, Tammy Hargis and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be on Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Alan Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Varner Cemetery
