Gene Frederick

Thomas “Gene” Frederick, of Mowbray Mountain, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 peacefully at home. He loved to fix cars and lawn mowers. Gene was loved by many of his friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy and Beatrice Frederick, sister, Patsy; brothers, Joe, Baldy and Carlous and grandson, Jason Newman.

Survivors are his loving wife of 47 years, Joan Frederick; daughters, Candi Desha, April Frederick Dennis; sons, Tommy, Billy and Brent Frederick; grandchildren, Cheyenne Frederick and David Dennis; great grandson, Jacob Newman; sisters, Bobbie, Wanda, Charlotte and Martha, many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Buddy.

Services will be Monday, March 12, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Willard Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Granny Walker Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
