Sam Henry

Samuel Henry, 80, passed away on November 17, 2021. Sam was retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to build fires and take care of Wilcoxen Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Frances Penney Henry; siblings, Bill Henry and Joyce Posey; and grandson, Mason Henry.

Sam is survived by his wife, Wanda June Henry; children, Rex (Julia) Henry, Greg (Lisa) Henry and Julie Smith (Sean Sims); brother, Jimmy (Thelma) Henry; grandchildren, Lauren and Gage Smith; as well as several nieces, nephews and aunts.

Services will be private with the family.
