Ruth Elsea

Ruth Rose Elsea, 102, a lifelong resident of Sale Creek, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 1, 2021 in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was a beautician for numerous years in Sale Creek.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of seventy years, Frank Elsea; parents, Tom and Edna May Rose; brothers, Shad and Pete Rose; sisters, Flora Shadwick, Vernon Green and Sara Hawke.

She is survived by her sons, Jim (Brenda) Elsea and Doyle (Connie) Elsea; grandchildren, Heather Elsea, Seth Elsea and Beth Lewis; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Caitlyn, Josie, Benjamin and Colton Lewis.

Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 8, 2021. Services will follow at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Grant Chauncey officiating. Burial will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
