Ruby Stout
Ruby May Stout, 90, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Ruby "Alexander" Stout spent most of her young life in Daisy and moved to Soddy when she married Sonny Stout in 1946. Her four children were of school age when she started working for the Hamilton County School System. Her passion has always been working with children. Ruby retired from the school system after many rewarding years of service.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, James Keith "Sonny" Stout, her parents Nina and Chester Alexander, siblings Roberta, Bob and Jack Alexander.
Survivors include : son Jim (Doris) Stout, Jr., daughters LeAnn Stout, Sharon Christy and Terri (Dan) Ferry, sister Mary Lou (Bobby) Wilson, grandchildren Alicia (Brad) Kinsey, Tyler Stout, Andrew Stout, Austin Stout, Garrett Ferry, Maia (Justin) Aultman and Raven Christy; great grandchildren Ayla Aultman, Archer Aultman, Jackson Kinsey, Luke Kinsey, and Clara Kinsey along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 12:30 on Monday, October 16, 2017, at Hamilton Memorial Gardens with David Haynes officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 10:00 until 12:00 noon on October 16, 2017, at Williamson & Sons funeral home in Soddy-Daisy.
