Roy Lee May

Roy Lee May, 71, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he received the Army Commendation Medal and was honorably discharged in 1972. Roy was an avid hunter and well known for his pool playing abilities. He will be sincerely missed by all. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Lee Roy and Catherine May brothers, Floyd May and Johnny May; sister, Rhonda May and half-brother, Bobby Jeralds.

Survivors are his wife, Connie May; son, J.R. May; daughter, Lee Ann Hallford and husband, Brent; sister-in-law, Teresa May; granddaughters, KneLeigh Rose, Olivia Laura-Ann and grandson, Trey Sebastian Smith.

Services will be on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
