Roy Everett

Roy Franklin Everett, Jr., 94, of Chattanooga, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019. He was veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and retired from Liberty National Life Insurance Company. Roy was of member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Red Bank. An avid fisherman he was a charter member of the Soddy-Daisy Bass Club. He loved gardening, country music and western movies. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Everett and son, Roy F. Everett, III.

Survivors are his wife, Elizabeth Everett; daughter, Carolyn Baptist (Dan); sister, Dorothy “Dot” Hillard; grandsons, Jason Everett and Andrew Matheney; granddaughter, Sarah Everett.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at National Cemetery. There will not be a visitation at the funeral home.
