Robin Burdine

Robin L Burdine, 58, of Soddy Daisy passed away at her home on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Robin was born in Soddy Daisy on February 19, 1963, and graduated from Soddy High School in 1981.

After attending UTC she worked for Bencor Corporation for 5 years and then left to follow her true calling of being a stay at home mother and wife. She gave her life to Jesus Christ at an early age and lived faithfully for him her entire life, most recently being a member of Clear Creek Church of Christ.

She loved her entire family dearly and treasured time spent with them doing just about anything. Her favorite things were family trips to Disney World and the beach, and in recent years, time spent with her two grandsons who were her treasure.

She is preceded in death by her parents Lou W. and Mary Evelyn Johnson and her brother and sister-in-law Stephen L. and Betty A. Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Alan K Burdine; son and daughter-in-law Christopher and Cristina Burdine; daughter Katelyn Burdine; grandsons Cohen Burdine and Cayson Burdine; sister and brother-in-law Mary Lou and Gabby Williamson; sister and brother-in-law Ressa and Ronnie Payne and literally dozens upon dozens of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.

The family will have a celebration of life at Clear Creek Church of Christ on Saturday, September 11, 2021.Visitation will be from 2-5 pm with the service starting at 5:00 pm. The family’s desire is that this be a true celebration of a life well lived. If you want to say anything about Robin and how she touched your life, we welcome you to do that.

After the service at @ 6:15-6:30, family and friends will meet in the Church Gym for dinner. All are invited to stay.

The family will have a private grave side service on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Robins greatest benevolent joy was when she was able to provide food for someone that was hungry. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you simply find someone in need and provide them with a hot meal or groceries. It would make her so very happy.

The family also wishes to acknowledge Dr. Matthew Kodsi, Dr. Berneet Kaur, and from Hospice - Amy, Erin, Jessie, Brittney, Rebecca, Mark, George and all the others that helped us navigate this terrible journey with her Alzheimer’s. You all are angels on this earth, and we so appreciate your care and compassion.
