Roberta Hackney

Roberta Hackney, 78, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away, on Monday, August 26, 2019. She was a native of Bledsoe County and lived in Soddy-Daisy most of her life. Roberta was of the Baptist faith. She worked at Dixie Souvenirs for many years. Roberta enjoyed camping. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Frankie Smith; brothers, Willard, Earnest and Owen Smith; sister, Imogene Smith; grandson, Jeffrey Allen Smith.

Survivors are her loving husband, Don Hackney; son, Johnny Smith; 3 great granddaughters, Katelyn, Mary and Bridgette; 1 great great grandson, sisters, Oeida Cooley (Joe) and Brenda White; brother, James Paul Smith (Stacy) and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
