Robert Gene Hoodenpyle, Sr.

Robert Gene Hoodenpyle, Sr., 68, of Red Bank, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2019. He was a Christian. Robert worked for Chattanooga City Schools and the Hamilton County Department of Education for over 44 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Louiza and Charles Hoodenpyle.

Survivors are his wife of 47 years, Bernice Hoodenpyle; children, Tina Hopper and Robert Gene Hoodenpyle, Jr.; siblings, Linda Layne (James), Darlene Price, Joyce Dye, Raymond Hoodenpyle; grandchildren, Dylan Hoodenpyle, Ashley Hoodenpyle, Katie Hoodenpyle, McKenzie Hoodenpyle; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will be on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clinton Cooksey officiating. Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
