Rob Hale

Robert (Rob) Earl Hale, 53, of Hixson, Tennessee and a Chattanooga native, went home to be with Jesus, July 13, 2021.

Rob was a friend to all, always giving and lending to help someone in need. An avid outdoorsman who loved his family and had a curiosity and love for life that was contagious to everyone. An extraordinary storyteller who’s life was a great adventure story.

Rob was married to Missy (Melissa) Varner Hale for twenty years. He was the proud father of Andrew (Drew) Talon Hale, Emma Rhianne Hale and Clayton (Clay) Isaac Hale.

He is also survived by his father, Attorney Robert (Bob) D. Hale (Rebecca); mother, Sarah Long Hale; mother-in-law, Janice Varner; sister-in-law, Paula Burchard (James); nephews, Zachary (Tristan) Burchard, Alexander Burchard and a niece, Jenna Burchard.

His grandparents, H. Earl and Anna D. Hale. O.H. and Julia Mai Goff-Long; aunt, Margaret Long Carter and father-in-law, Malcom Varner preceded him in death.

Visitation is 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 16, 2021with services following at 1:00 P.M. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Heather O’Neal officiating. Interment will follow in Rhea Memory Gardens.
