Patricia Sue Elliott

Patricia Sue Adams Elliott, 80, of Soddy Daisy passed away peacefully on September 12, 2020 at home in Soddy Daisy surrounded by her family and loved ones after many years of suffering from chronic pain and diabetes. She now rests in peace and comfort in a place prepared for us all by our glorious and heavenly Father and Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Our Patty Sue was born April 25, 1940 in Soddy, TN to James and Eileen Barnes Adams. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, and friend to so many. She never met a stranger; everyone became her family. She had so many successful careers and passed her work ethic on to her children. She was also the hostess with the mostest. She could entertain a few or many at the blink of an eye, an attribute she passed on to her daughters. And no one will ever come close to her coconut pies or homemade biscuits.

She was welcomed into heaven with the open arms of those who precede her in death, her father, James Adams; mother and daddy, Eileen and W.G. (Pex) Irwin; son, Glen Casey Elliott; brothers, Bob and Clifford Adams; and many other friends and family.

She is survived and will be remembered by a long list of loved ones, her daughters and son-in-laws, Terri and Randy Bass and Debbie and Jerry Renfro; her former husband and his wife and her friend, Don (Duck) and Beverly Elliott; brother, Jim (Shirley) Adams, and her grandchildren, Morgan (Shayna) Howard, Rachael Smith, Jesse (Kara) Howard, and Lauren Smith. She is also survived by her many great grandchildren; many loving sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends from Soddy Seniors Center; and last but not least, her church family at Soddy Church of Christ.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at Presbyterian Cemetery on Old Hixson Pike and Holly Circle in Soddy Daisy, TN. Officiated by Brother Joel Danley.
