Myrtle Copeland
Myrtle Vandergriff Copeland, 95, of Daisy, TN, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Maggie Vandergriff; children, Tommy Copeland and Sharon Jones; sisters, Gertie Henderson, Edith Smith, Pauline Croft, Bessie Fairbanks and Violia “Tinsie” Vandergriff; as well as two brothers, Joe and Raymond Vandergriff. Myrtle was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn (Richard) Copeland Miller of Bonne Terre, MO, Sandra (Donnie) Hodge of Sale Creek, TN, Janice Copeland of Hixson, TN, and Delores (Jackie) Shelby of Lake Site, TN; as well as several grandchildren, great -grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at Copeland Cemetery on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Terry Bolton presiding. The family will be receiving friends and loved ones from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.
