Martha Dean Branum Flowers

Martha Dean Branum Flowers, 95, of Soddy-Daisy, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022. She was of the Baptist faith. Martha was born to the late Charles and Blanche Couch. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Branum and Malcolm Flowers; sons, Larry Branum, Gary Branum and Terrell Branum; siblings, Charles, Sam and Lorenzo Couch; grandchild, Pam Branum

Martha designed custom interior including drapes. While in her 80s she went to college graduating from Chattanooga State and became an herbal minister. She could always be heard saying “I plead the blood of Jesus over you.”

Survivors are her son, Phil Branum; sister, Evelyn Kelly; grandchildren, Phill Branum, Jr., Haley Branum, Rhonda Keith (Lane), Todd Branum, Chris Wade; great grandchild, Kirian Keith; several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services will be on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
