Mania Beene

Mania Kilgore Beene, 81, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away May 12, 2018. She retired from the United States Postal Service in Soddy Daisy. Mania was a lifelong member of South Daisy Baptist Church and had most recently been attending Green Pond Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ray Beene, Sr.; father, Levesta “Shorty” Kilgore; mother, Tressia Kilgore Clift; brothers, Larry and George Kilgore and a daughter-in-law, Susan Beene.

Survivors include her sons and their wives, Ray and Karen Beene and Richie and Michelle Beene; grandchildren, Angie, Jesse, James, Adam and Lacie; great-grandchildren, Jay, Teresa, Colton and Reese; great-great-grandchildren, Skylar and Elijah; brother, Donnie (Denise) Kilgore; sister, Sandra (C.L.) Laymon; sister-in-law, Erma Kilgore along with several nieces and nephews.

The family wants to offer a special thanks to her caregivers, James Beene, Donna Mahan, Jennifer Cowart and the Mountain View Team of Hospice of Chattanooga.

Visitation is 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Wilburn Hardyman officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton memorial Gardens.
